Effective January 1, 2027, he will assume responsibility for Technology and Development.

Dr. Carsten Weiß will join the Executive Board of Bausch+Ströbel SE + Co. KG in Ilshofen on January 1, 2027. He will take over responsibility for the Technology and Development division. This appointment completes the Executive Board team of the packaging machinery manufacturer once again.

Holding a doctorate in Materials Science, Dr. Weiß has held positions at BASF, Robert Bosch GmbH, and PERI SE, among others. He gained extensive experience in packaging technology at Bosch Packaging Technology, where he was responsible for global product and technology planning and supported the company's later transition to Syntegon.

Since 2023, Dr. Weiß has been a member of the Group Executive Management of PERI SE. As Managing Director, he oversaw three business units, international development, engineering, quality and production organizations, as well as several sites and companies with around 1,300 employees.

“Dr. Weiß is highly familiar with packaging technology and also brings extensive international leadership experience. This makes him ideally qualified for his new role at Bausch+Ströbel,” said Supervisory Board Chairman Wilfried Bantle.
